PPP Performing Arts Scholarship
2017 was the 9th year for PPP's scholarship. This year's recipient was Marta Grant. Marta graduated from Easton Valley High School in Preston and is attending Iowa State University. Marta is the daughter of Gene Grant and the late Krista Grant.
Peace Pipe Players Community Theater
has established a $500.00 performing arts scholarship
to be awarded to a graduating senior
who has been involved in theatre, speech, dance, or music. 

Applicants must be a high school senior attending
Bellevue, Bellevue Marquette, Easton Valley, Maquoketa,
Midland or Northeast
school districts.  
Any student who has been involved in
the performing arts is encouraged to apply. 
However, preference will be given to applicants
planning to major in the performing arts,
including theater, vocal, instrumental, dance
and technical (sound/lights/set costruction, etc.)

  Interested students must:
 1- complete an application form  
 2- provide two letters of reference       
       (one letter must be from a performing arts instructor or a director)
 3- submit a typewritten essay of fewer than 500 words on the topic, 
     'How has being involved in the arts helped shape the person you are today?'
 4- include on a separate sheet a list of:
     community service,
     organization memberships
     and any other
awards or recognition received

Completed applications and all supporting documentation must be
postmarked by April 2, 2018 and mailed to:

PPP intends to offer this scholarship annually. 
100% of the donations received from concessions
at PPP productions go to support the scholarship fund.
